A staple of the series is the use of boost, earned through risky driving, to rapidly increase a car's speed. It is the third instalment in the Burnout series, which is characterised by fast-paced arcade racing. It can also be performed in any Tour Buses along the Golden City circuit.Burnout 3: Takedown is a 2004 racing video game developed by Criterion Games and published by Electronic Arts. There is a long line of parked buses near the giant Buddha Statue mid-way through the Island Paradise circuit. The Jungle Dirt Track is the only section involving a jungle along the entire circuit. This Takedown won't be awarded if a Rival crashes into one of the walls of the road at the intersection half-way through the Jungle Dirt Track.
Takedown a Rival into the walls of the Jungle Dirt Track. This is the short section of the Dockside circuit which has rows of large Shipping Crates and Dock Cranes. There are 2 of these very large gates at either entrances of the old town along the Vineyard circuit. Takedown a Rival into a stone archway gate. The Marina is nearby the Roustabout location on the Vineyard circuit and must be performed along the dockside wall. Takedown a Rival into the Roundabout found in the Riviera circuit. The Toll Booths can be found at a bottleneck along the Alpine circuit. Takedown a Rival into the Alpine Highway Toll Booth. Takedown a Rival on the Alpine Suspension Bridge. These can be found on many European tracks that involve snow. Takedown a Rival into a Snowplow (the big yellow bulldozer-like vehicles). The Trams can be found on the sides of a long straight in Winter City. Similar to Tram Ram except must be performed on a European circuit.
Another difficult Takedown due to the rarity of speedboat-bearing Big Rigs but they can be found dotted on the rounds surrounding Silver Lake or can be seen as well 10 seconds after the race starts in Waterfront (Westbound). Takedown a Rival into a Big Rig with a speedboat on its trailer. One of the more difficult Signature Takedowns as it rarely appears but the Tram can be found in the middle of the sharp bends about halfway through the Waterfront circuit. Takedown a Rival into a Tram on the Waterfront. This will be the first tunnel after a left turn (Southbound). Takedown a Rival into the opening/closing split of the underpass. These can be found in a long straight after the second Red Bridge (Southbound) but also dotted in other places along the track. Takedown a Rival into the Black and Yellow pillars supporting the Railway Tracks.
These vans can be found in abundance along the roads surrounding Silver Lake.
Score a Takedown on an RV or Mobile Home. The Takedown must be performed on a wall facing the lake but cannot be in one of the tunnels. The cliffed area is directly after the winding Dirt Track and through the tunnels. Get a Takedown over the cliffs in Silver Lake.
